You’ll never know, until you have it yourself

Post Meta Posted by at 11:15 PM under the queen's bubbly words

It’s been 5 (five) straight days for me to help my mom in the store. Fyi, the store was newly opened for 5 days also. I have just realize that I am not suitable in just staying in store. Well, i’m not the one who can be a storekeeper. I think I will be most suitable as a buyer. Yup, yup…a buyer. I pick stuffs from the supplier and deal the prices.

Well, this post is not aimed to be the post where the writer complains the most, but I just want to write down the feeling from my point of view, the store owner daughter of a store owner, especially the one who still run it with traditional system.

It’s almost been 10 years (calculated from the year I got my 1st job  ^^) that I viewed life on the other side. It was definitely the opposite of the employer’s point of view. It was the place where someone will always think,”It does not make a big effect for me whether the customers buy our company’s products or not, I still got the salary”. The thing was that I did not realize that I have that kind of thought! (i feel like Nicole Kidman, in her movie, The Hours). I’m sort of shocking a little bit. Because actually, I spent 5 years to work in family’s business, and I still did not change my point of view towards my job. Fyi, if my mom or her siblings read this blog, I will surely get a long speech along my weekend. Thank God, nobody (in the circle of my mom n her siblings) reads this blog, especially the one which using english. I suppose…

Become a shop owner is not as easy as i thought. If someone ask me to tell about what kind of thing that will burden me the most, I will be mention 2 (two) things. First, it will be about how I throw those things in the market before the deadine and the last thing will be the waiting (of customers) to come in to the store and spend the money. I obviously understand now the statement that it is hard to make money nowadays. So, I should read and learn more to be an effective store owner.

Hopefully, this experience will teach me more about making my dreams come true..(especially in the field of money, works, and ……)

*smangattt*
